Larry is co-founder and Vice President of Board Options, Inc. Founded in 2000, its mission is to help Boards with continuous improvement in governance, and finding great talent for Boards.
His articles on governance/leadership have appeared in CALIFORNIA MANAGEMENT REVIEW, HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW, and MIT SLOAN MANAGEMENT REVIEW. In addition, he has been quoted in BUSINESS WEEK, INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY, THE NEW YORK TIMES and THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.
He currently serves on the Boards of Zapoint, Inc., a venture backed technology company and CS Technologies. Previous Board experiences include Board of Directors for COMPENSATION & BENEFITS MAGAZINE and the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Larry received his doctorate at Harvard University in the area of organization behavior and was previously a compensation consultant for Hay Associates. Larry is referenced in WHO’S WHO IN INDUSTRY & FINANCE and WHO’S WHO IN AMERICA.

Maryanne is co-founder and President of Board Options, Inc. Founded in 2000, Board Options is a consulting firm that works to assist Boards of Directors in continuous improvement in Governance. Board Options also works with Boards and CEOs to be more effective problem solving units. One area of specialization is assisting Boards in the development and implementation of Board of Directors Self-Evaluation Programs that assess both quantitative and qualitative governance performance..
An organization development consultant, she has assisted Executive Management and their Boards in the areas of leadership effectiveness since 1981 as a founding principal in Stybel, Peabody & Associates.
Prior to founding that firm, Maryanne held leadership positions in start-up health care organizations.
Maryanne was on the Board of Directors of the New England Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. She continues on that organization’s operating committee in the area of Board of Director education. She is a founder of NACD’s “Best Practices” seminar. She also serves on the Board of a company that builds and manages assisted living facilities for low income elderly.
As an elected official and Chairman of the Town of Wayland's Board of Health, Maryanne also gained experience in key environmental issues facing Massachusetts communities. She currently serves on the Town’s Personnel Board.
Maryanne’s MBA is from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she was the first recipient of the Hoblitzelle Foundation's Women in Business Scholarship. Maryanne has a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and advanced training in organizational behavior from Columbia University.
She is a contributing author to the book, Harvard Business Review on Managing Your Career. Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, The Boston Globe.

Warren began a finance career at General Electric. He brings perspective about profit and mission driven leadership change. He is regularly consulted in matters of corporate governance. Prior to joining Stybel Peabody Associates, Warren was Executive Vice President for Right Management Associates and helped take it public.
He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the Episcopal Divinity School of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Warren is a Trustee at the Huntington Theater in Boston and serves the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts in a variety of capacities.
